Redevelopment of the François Mitterrand mall in Rennes
The south-western entrance to the city of Rennes was entirely revamped and the François Mitterrand mall was redeveloped.
Those walking or strolling along the Vilaine’s riverbanks now have a new perspective and a new architectural and landscaping outlook on their surroundings.
As the city’s new creations were mostly metal-based, Crézé and its team worked to redevelop the surrounding urban areas, adding galvanised steel footbridges and staircases, or even Corten banisters with stainless steel handrails.
This whole area – designed for solitary wanderers and families alike, who are simply looking to have a relaxing walk – is fitted with benches, decorative structures and games for everyone to enjoy.
